  • Is it all the info for ampang hospital? I was told that this hospital is supposed to be paperless, meaning full IT, but the website is very disappointing.
  • Basically this hospital is a referral hospital for haematological cases. I've been here for about 6 months and frankly, as it is a new hospital, u can't expect everything to be A-OK. The computerized or 'paper-less' system as it is called just started sometime around November (yerp...right after hari raya). frankly speaking, the only good thing about it is that pharmacists are able to understand the prescriber's handwriting better...regarding the paperless procedure...at the moment its still paper-full (bigger in a sense that the prescription slip is A4 size compared to the small 'SLIP'). but i guess patients are getting a hang of it... A small request to the patients, since we're just upgrading to the new system, we kindly hope that you can be patient while waiting to be served. You cooperation is highly appreciated. To the staff of Hospital Ampang, I understand that the system upgrade may slightly delay our performances, but on behalf of the patients, i hope that we do not take this as a reason to delay our performance. If we can manage with manual prescriptions, why can't we accept changes? :) keep up the good work y'all
  • Tempat keje baru suami aku. PT jer...Lapor diri pada 5/5/2008.
  • I lost my mum here.... I hate this place.....Malaysia medical level is dam low... shame....
  • tempat keje aku juga, bilalah aku dapat pindah agaknye, dah lama aku tunggu .
  • My mum was admitted due to low blood count. But why is it so difficult to meet the doc in government hospital??? My mum can't speak other BM or EN, so I was there every morning hope to meet the doc. But their procedure is wait for doc to round till the wad. So basically after failing to meet the doc for about 5 days, at last I got to wait almost whole day in order to find out the condition of my mum. The doc never concern to pass the message to the family by any other way. He is very unprofessional.
  • A patient, named Ambiga A/P Thiraviam, 27 years old... Admitted for a continuos abdomen pain on 6th Jan 2012..My mum was with her since 2pm till 11pm to admit her.. They did so many blood test n so many doctor attended her.. As my sister currently on Tab Wafarin 8mg OD.. My mum already passed all the details regarding her medical problem when they 1st attend the doctor in emergency.. After so many examinations, they said that she is suffering from APPENDIX.. and they verbally CONFIRMED IT.. They proceeded with LAPAROSCOPIC and noted white appendix as generated in a piece of paper which they gave when she discharged.. Hence, case was reffered to O & G TEAM by DR. ROSALINA BINTI MOHD ALI.. findings as below:- -Ruptured left corpus luteal (haemorhagic) cyst (100cc haemoperitoneum) -right ovary normal -left ruptured corpus luteal 2x3cm - no active bleeding -liver surface, bowel normal.. And, finally NO APPENDECTOMY WAS DONE.. But when they checked, they did say ITS CONFIRMED APPENDIX.. they did LAPAROSCOPIC on 9th Jan 2012.. The doctors did ask this question so many times "you from ampang, so u prefer go Aneka Klinik or this Hospital Ampang?" she replied GHKL as she is under medication for her blood clot there... We already passed all the details from GHKL to the doctors at the emergency ward as i mentioned above.. FINALLY, they telling "YOU SHOULD GO TO GHKL INSTEAD OF HOSPITAL AMPANG AS ALL YOUR MEDICATION THERE".. My question here, is this how you all treat a patient? What's our wrong? My sister had pain, and we took her HERE.. WHY YOU ALL DIDN'T ADVICED US AT THE FIRST after we gave all the details about her health from GHKL...????? Why after done everything only u all asking us to do so..?? And i wanted to tell here that WE ARE NOT A MBBS GRADUATE... we dont know what we have to do after a operation or anything..! Its You, the DOCTOR WHO RESPONSIBLE TO TELL US WHAT WE SHOULD DO...!! They funny thing is, none of them inform anything... They just said "we discharging u".. The stitch is still there.. They didnt tell what to do.. No medications... No comments/advice from the doctor.. The doctor who did the laparoscopic didnt turn up.. When they first checked my sister.. They told her that they wil issue a letter to GHKL as my sister's next appointment with GHKL on 11th Jan 2012.. When we asked for the letter that they promised to give, they took about 4hours to prepare that letter.. And, we really dont know wether that letter been signed by the O&G DR. ROSALINA BINTI MOHD ALI OR BY THE NURSE IN CHARGE... Is that we cant go to GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL AMPANG IF EMERGENCY? of course we would bring my sister to GHKL if she is in normal pain.. We dont have choice that day, and had bring her to YOUR HOSPITAL... Why cant YOU just inform us at the first place?? That we should bring her to GHKL????!! We are so disappointed with your SERVICE!! PLEASE CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG... WHAT WE SHOULD DO NOW? Thanks, VINOD

  • nurse n doctor no good service
  • Most government hospital staff have bad attitude, very arrogant and bad bedside manners and very unprofessional. This is the truth and based on personal experience. Some government hospitals are a threat to patient safety. GHKL wards are a hotbeds for infections bcoz of the horrendous sanitary conditions. Commonly seen in the old wings in every building are broken fixtures, filthy, broken and abandoned, badly maintained, unreliable equipment and instruments and unreliable staff and unnecessary delay delay delay. We even saw a muddy puddle underneath a broken wash basin in the isolation room!! Although renovations are on-going, meanwhile patients at the old buildings continue to be at risk. We even saw a filthy bedsheet which was still stained with blood, hidden among a stack of nicely folded, clean -looking bed linens. The nurses simply pulled out that particular bedsheet and proceed to use the rest of the stack to change bed sheets for the patients. This is unacceptable. This whole stack of bed sheets on the trolly should have been rejected sent back for sterilization instead and an investigation initiated by the nurses immediately, starting with a report about the incident (an adverse event report). The nurses and other irresponsible staff were spreading diseases in the hospitals.
