Kontich-Kazerne is a neighbourhood in the municipality of Kontich. The residential center has grown around the former military barracks of Kontich. The area consists of a series of residential neighbourhoods, roughly bounded by the Antwerp-Mechelen railway in the east and 'Koningin Astridlaan' (Queen Astrid Boulevard) in the west. It is in the east associated with the residential center of 'Lint'. Kontich-Kazerne inhabits some 5.000 people, or one quarter of the entire population of Kontich.
Kontich-Kazerne has a railway station, church, school and houses the municipal library of Kontich.
