  • The lake is gone. Look out for a concrete jungle now.
  • recently rejuvenated. It is a very good walk around the lake.
  • Kudos to the BBMP and the local residents who fought to save the lake from Land sharks. The rejuvenated lake is now a permanent residence for several Spotted Bill Ducks, Cormorants, Purple Herons, Cattle Egrets, Darter Birds, Kingfishers, Bee-eaters, Pond Herons, Purple Moor-hens, Water-cocks, Brahminy Kites, etc. Fencing along the periphery of the water body is going on at a rapid pace. The only concern is the plan to add a cycling track which will spoil the fun of walking in this beautiful spot. BBMP officials please drop that idea!
  • BTW what is the length of the running track surrounding it ?
  • 6-630 pm
  • Around 1.9 km
  • till what time is it open in the evening for joggers.
