  • On a recent cruise boat visit to Key West, I asked some locals where the studio was but got blank stares. Didn't buy the responses. Knew what I was looking for and found it in short order. Even found a cool hanging parrot from a vendor right behind the studio. Will come in handy for the Parrothead 2009 cruise in March. Great to have visited Margaritaville.
  • Yeah, found the place without too much trouble. The vendors behind the studio said JB was in town a week and a half before we got there (2-23)and George Strait is due to record in a couple of weeks also. The place was tighter than a drum - not even the AC units were running. A walking tour guide took a bunch of tourist-types past while I was hanging around, and told them it was a recording studio but didn't say who works out of the place.
  • Yeah, thats always the locals' comment - you just missed Jimmy. He was here last week. Or he's due back in a week or two.
