St. Mary’s Church, Narakal. (image included) One of the oldest church in the island. The parish has nearly 1600 catholic families spread out in the vicinities of 12 Kms Length and 4Kms width. The total strength of the parish is divided into 30 family units for facilitating the administration. This church was built in 1446 A D.
