  • SJR is one of the worst builders in Bangalore. If you have money, better throw in the drain, but don't buy an apartment in SJR properties, believe me...it's much less painful. All their projects are delayed by more than a year, quality...don ask, sometimes tiles not available, sometime sand, then labor, wondow...list is endless...if you don keep a watch they will fit broken doors and won't replace. Their employee keep changing, so todya somebody will promise you something, tomorrow he is not there...so nobody is accountable. In my 3 yrs assosiation, 4 project managers already...and each one is bigger idiot than the previous one. delay charges...forget it...if you have made upfront payment, initially they will promise you to pay interest, then after sometime they will stop paying, saying "we din't ask for it, you paid and we can't pay after *** date". why?? that doesn make any sense. Ok...so then return the money..."no we can't return. it will be with us and final account settlement will be done at the time of possession". So you guys only can judge... in one of the projects, after completion they told the owners, that they have built more Super Builtup area than planned, so owner;s should pay the difference, which was 1-3 laks per appt depending on their ratio. They claim that their architect is some bigshot, i say, their design and enginerring suck... they denied fitting bathtub in bathrooms saying, it might cause leakage. and thats not all...the list is endless...My suggesstion to all my friends who want to buy their dream house is, please speak to people who have already made this mistake, visit the properties, each project's occupant have yahoo groups, browse and read the messages and then take a decision. one can actually write a book on "why not to invest in SJR properties". And even after all this you want to invest in SJR properties, then i would say, "you are responsible for your pain and loss !!" :-)
  • I dont agree with you Kaushik....may be this was the situation with SJR Builders before. I recently found one of their videos on youtube (SJR Group - SJR Builders Bangalore - iPark) link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mP-47x5UeVU, where i got interested in one of their properties. The SJR Group Master there responded promptly, and post that also when i enquired for the property.They were very cordial and are also willing to help me get the right appartment. My experience with them recently was that the SJR Group have improved their customer relation team because I am having no problems with the SJR Group people. May be you were unlucky with them.
  • SJR builders are one of the best builders in Bangalore. I recently booked a flat at Equinox by the SJR group and I am extremely pleased with the level of service the person in-charge has given me. Any updates are always sent to me via mail and all my queries have answered promptly and immediately. Also I was prettly impressed with the overall plan for equinox as well. The layout is very good and they have given large spaces for my children to play. Infact, my collegue also wanted to invest, so i recomended SJR builders to them as well.... i am very happy with my purchase and its a good investment for me also. My personal experience with sjr has been really good.....and I would be glad to reccomend SJR builders to anyone interested.

  • I completely agree with you sujit...I also got interested in one of SJR Builders property, Luxuria. When I enquired with them SJR group were very good and they answered all my questions very honestly and promptly. SJR Builders even arranged a site visit for me. Right now i am quiet convinced that i should go for this SJR Group - Luxuria property.
  • SJR Builders/Group is very decent when it comes to customer care. I honestly feel that they do deliver what they promise, and i am happy with them. They always have bugdeted apartments/buildings and they usually always appreciate over a short time, so as far as i am concerned SJR Builders/group are a good investment as well... emotionally and financially All updates in my apartment are always sent to me over mail, and the people at SJR builders are pretty receptive to my needs. The CRM team at SJR is also very good, and the SJR lady actually cane forward to get find out if i was facing any issues proactively. My apartment has wide garden spaces, and a clubhouse, so my daughter also loves it there, she can play around unsupervised ( although i dont let her nere the swimming pool alone :D). She can cycle around without me bing there, and i am really happy with the amenities SJR Builders/Group has given me. I honestly feel kaushik that you have had a bad experience, i am on the yahoo groups and i can support SJR Builders, and i will gladly support any of my friends if they want to buy with SJR Builders/Group. I have heard so many stories about so many other fly-by-night builders ( i dont want to name them ;) ), that are so scary that i was actually glad i dealt with SJR Builders.....because what ever it is they are an established company, and a big recognised entity. Honestly, at the end of the day, i would recommend SJR builders/Group to anyone who asked me - thats my personal opinion....no offence to kaushik

  • @Sumit Dude, dont worry, go ahead with your investment, SJR is a trustworthy builder. Dont blindly believe the negetive reviews if any. Go and talk with them and see it yourself. Its really worth. I would like to see them Grow bigger in bangalore
