  I agree that it is a very good swimming pool. It has clean water and maintains proper hygiene and the place is very well kept. There are good, easily approachable guides and instructors and the chief is a very nice person. It is a long course pool which means that there is plenty of space to swim. Even then the pool sees a lot of swimmers frequenting it and thus remains full during the peak season months, so much so that a large number of people are in every season left without a membership after waiting in long ques for a long time. In fact the swimming forms finish off in the first day of the distribution itself and only those who have been standing in the line from early morning on wards manage to get a form to fill and give. The price of membership is very reasonable, it being run by the municipality and like fenil, above, has written it is very affordable by many people. Though, I totally agree that they should have made a diving complex also somewhere in the swimming pool vicinity. It would have been an added advantage. Maybe, sometime later when they see a demand for it from a growing swimmer and diver base, it can be implemented. Till then I wish all the best to it.

  I'm going to kalawad road swimming pool since this term which has been completed 3 months but no single coach seems interested to make learners learn swimming in efficient way and with different techniques, the male coaches just pass the time and make the students swim on their own which is unacceptable. The students have asked many times to let them go in the deep area of pool for practice but even after 3 months not a single student knows the proper technique of swimming because of the inactivity in teaching by the so called coaches! I wish any municipality member dig into this and hopefully we get better coaches for future terms.
