Mountlake Terrace

this is home. this is where my family lives. small but not tiny. close enough to seattle, yet just far enough to have my own peace of mind. lots of green. not enough vegan places to eat at, but its still a cozy little corner of the world. this is home.

Vegan? Move to Seattle then with the rest of the tree huggers ;p

It's also the home of the Terrace Park wolves, weekday home for
about 600 cool K-8 kids.

Lots of boring cinderblock houses here, not one of the best northern suburbs. It does have redeming qualities thouhg, which include: Cascade Elite Gymnastics, Rogers Market(Reminds me of the supermarket in Gray,ME when I lived there), Thr MLT pool, and one of the grestest places for sausage in Western Washington: Double-D meats. I highly reccomend the peach chipotle sausage there.

We live in the eastern part of "Terrace" and we love our neighborhood. Good shopping, clean streets, wonderful neighbors. Very little crime here. A place I feel safe. Close enough to Seattle, where there is an amazing music scene and hundreds of terrific places to eat. Love how green it is here. And most people have wonderful energy. Yes Double D meats is fantastic! The neighborhood around it is a little less desirable, but they are working on making that old military housing a nicer look. That is a small part of MLT. We have a nice swimming and fishing lake, Lake Ballinger and a nice, small golf course. The proximity to all shopping is within minutes, including Alderwood Mall.
