Rajkot Railway Station is main railway station of Rajkot, Gujarat, India. Rajkot has Bhaktinagar Railway Station, apart from Rajkot Railways Station. Rajkot Railway Station is popularly referred as Rajkot Junction. Rajkot Junction is the primary terminus of rail transport for the city of Rajkot in the state of Gujarat, India and an important center of the Western Railways zone of the Indian Railways. The station has five platforms. There are ample numbers of tea stalls, snack bars, medical shops, enquiry desk. The station also has one ATM which is run by the State Bank of Saurashtra. The government is also considering to provide Cyber cafe, various ATMs, Vending-machine, Cafeteria, Urban waiting rooms and rest rooms. The station is undergoing large-scale automation and infrastructure development.
