Laucala is one of three small islands located to the east of Thurston Point, Taveuni. The privately owned island is home to the Laucala Resort, considered by some to be the country's most exclusive.
The island is actually privately owned by Dietrich Mateschitz (49% owner of Red Bull) which he bought from the Forbes family for £ 7 million.
