Historical Archive of Macedonia (Thessaloniki)


Former Russian Hospital, built by the Russian community of Thessaloniki in 1904. After 1925 it became a clinic for women to birth their children. In 1939 it was converted to a public hospital. In 1975, parts of it were converted into teaching classes for two high schools. Since May 1994 The Historical Archive of Macedonia uses the renovated parts of the building for the housing of its archives.
