A capstone project for the development of the Bronx River Greenway, Concrete Plant Park was opened in 2009 on the western bank of the industrial southern section of the Bronx River. The 7-acre park in the Crotona Park East section of the Bronx was home to a cement manufacturer, a concrete batch mix plant from 1945-1987.
