Pak Tai Temple (Hong Kong)

Pak Tai Temple was built in 1783 and was known as the oldest temple on the island. Pak Tai Temple is also the religious centre of Cheung Chau. Bun Festival, a century-old event designed to placate ghosts of locals massacred by pirates, is celebrated in this temple every spring.
