Southland Mall was a popular destination for residents of the south side in the 1970s-80s. The mall was anchored by a Gold Circle store (later Hills), Loew's movie theater and a grocery store. By the late 1990s, most stores had moved across the street to Great Southern Shopping Center. The mall is now home to offices (mostly Bob Evans), a BMV registrar, and several small businesses. There are hardly any shops left in the mall.

  • As of June 12, 2012, this location has Bob Evans Restaurant offices, Ohio Valley Bank and ECOT (Experimental Classroom of Tomorrow) offices. ECOT will be taint ownership of the building next week. The building the flea market was in has been torn down and the movie theater is storage.
