Inter-Island Ferry Terminal (Wellington)


The Inter-Island Ferry plyed between Wellington and Christchurch.
The Wahine sank in cyclone Giselle in 1967; replaced by the Rangitira which ran at a loss and the service abandoned in 197x.

The present Nth Island/Sth Island ferry service is between Picton and Wellington.
The berth is further to the north past the stadium
