An ancient mountain of this city. It has huge memorable statue of Dhyanchand which is visible from a very long distance.

Mountaineering and Rock-climbing sessions start in April every year. It's a 2 month course and the practical coaching classes will be held here in morning, before sunrise. When you reach at the top, you can see the red sun rising in the East.

  • The bird's eyeview is simply overwhelming. Nostagia sweeps my own being, my childhood & youth playing I-espy-you-espy on the stretching slopes of sipri hillock. Like what Shakespeare says..I drown an eye unused to flow. Bachpan ki Yadgaro, Biti Huyee Baharo, Hum Tumko Dhoonte Hai, Tum Bhi Hamay Pukaro.
  • This is a most beautiful hillock.I go every month in this hillock with my eriend. the colony which is its side,i live there.I like it very much.
  • I have also did tracking on this pahari in my childhood in 19 76-1977. I have passed high school form khalsa high school in 1979.
