USCG Station Freeport is a small boat lifesaving station in the US Coast Guard's 8th District.

Founded on June 11th, 1887 as the Velasco Lifeboat Station of the US Life Saving Service, the station was assumed into the US Coast Guard in 1915. With a modernized station and dock facilities built in 1991, the station currently has 55 people assigned and it's boats cover an Area of Responsibility from Terra Mar beach on Galveston Island to the Colorado River.
