This air base was first built in 1948 following the independence of India. It is also the home to the No. 5 and No. 14 Squadrons of Jaguar aircraft, No. 23 Squadron of MiG-21bis and No. 24 Squadron of Su-30.

  • Proud to say that I started my carrier as an Inst/ mech from Ambala in No 32 squdron I still feel for those two pilots tambay and Sanker who lost their lives for the nation in 7. Yes I pray for them daily. I salute too .
