North Winton Village is a vibrant neighborhood with many well-kept residential streets and an active commercial district centered on North Winton Road, which forms the border with Browncroft. The area is known for its socioeconomic diversity. The neighborhood is also known as Culver-Winton-Main, especially when referring to the areas further away from North Winton itself.

Each year in September, the Neighborhood Association holds a one-day North Winton Village Festival of the Arts, from Linear Park to the Gazebo Garden Park on North Winton Road, that offers residents and visitors alike music, art.

Nearby, Tryon Park offers 82 acres of undeveloped trails, steep hillsides and panoramic views.
