Canisius High School is a college preparatory high school for boys affiliated with the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in Western New York. The school traces it origins to 1870, when a group of Jesuits founded Canisius College. In 1944 the secondary school division was separated from the college and moved to its current location. The school has an athletic rivalry with St. Joe's in Tonawanda. It is a brother school to Nardin Academy for girls on Cleveland Avenue.
