Vasavi College of Engineering (VCE) (Telugu: వాసవి సాంకేతిక కళాశాల) is a self-financed, technical institute located in Ibrahimbagh, Hyderabad, India. It lies at a distance of about 12 km from the city center. The institute is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. Founded in the year 1981 by the Vasavi Academy of Education, in 2007 it was ranked 34th in the Top 50 Private Engineering Colleges in India.[1] Founded and visioned by Sri Pendekanti Venkatasubbaiah a veteran statesman of Independent India in the year 1981, Vasavi College of Engineering represents a tradition of technology-based education.The college was established in the year 1981 by Sri Pendekanti Venkatasubbaiah who founded the Vasavi Academy of Education. The academy established institutions in disciplines such as management, law, music and dance.Campus

The entrance of VCE lies on the Mehdipatnam - Gandipet Road and is flanked by the historic Golconda Fort and Taramati Baradari. The campus is located about 15 km from Begumpet Airport, 27 km from Secunderabad railway station, 13 km from Nampally railway station and is well connected by buses. The college is having bus facility from dilsukhnagar(1017, 258), secunderabad, kukatpally, tarnaka, musheerabad and from all corners of the city.
