Dasapora used to be one of the two mohallas (blocks) populated by Kashmiri Hindus in the village of Bomai. In late nineties, hindus had to vacate their homes because of the terrorism, and moved to much safer areas in the state. Now, all the homes are gone as well; looks like they were dismatled, but you can still see the foundation marks of these homes. There were roughly 30-40 families living in this block.
