"Persinski Blata" is a managed nature reserve with Ordinance № 1106 from 02.12.1981 by the Committee for Natural Environmental Protection at the Council of Ministers, promulgated in № 101/1981 of the State Gazette.
Aims of the declaration: Preservation of samples of the insular nature of the Lower Danube, conserving habitats and populations of rare and endangered water animals and plants.
Unique identification code in the register of protected areas in Bulgaria: 34.
Area: 404.12 hectares.
