The Uchan-Su falls is located in mountains, in seven kilometers from Yalta, in picturesque gorge, at height of 390 meters above sea level. It is possible to reach to it on the highway leading from Yalta to Bakhchisarai. The arranged well path conducts to a falls from a stop. The path is laid in picturesque Crimean pine wood. Pine of Pallas grows here and fills air with aroma of pitch. A falls Uchan-Su different depending on a time of year. It almost a dry up in the summer. Jets of water only avariciously flow down on a mossy rock. And on-turn - mighty "voice" of a falls fills all gorge in the spring or after strong downpours. A falls then it is audible for kilometer. The stream of water falls from height of 98 meters – this is the highest falls not only to Crimea, but also in Ukraine. In especially severe winters Uchan-Su freezes, forming ice-falls.
