Gokongwei-led Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) is set to build in Malabon City its 37th mall in the country to be called the Robinsons Town Mall, a statement on Thursday showed.

Set to rise on a 23,000-square- meter lot, the two-story commercial building will be on Governor Pascual corner Crispin streets, Tinajeros, Malabon, and will house more than 250 tenants, RLC said.

The existing lot—which is relatively flat and situated about 550 meters to the south of Tinajeros River—is surrounded by residential areas, educational institutions and commercial buildings.

Robinsons Land has decided to put up the Robinsons Town Mall, which will showcase “first rate” amenities and a good mix of shops and restaurants, the statement said.

“Malabon is one of the most highly populated areas in Metro Manila with more than 350,000 residents. It is home to many small and medium enterprises, including those related to fishing,” Arlene Magtibay, RLC general manager for commercial centers, said in the statement.

“The Robinsons Town Mall will feature retail establishments that are geared toward the everyday needs of the residents living near the area. It will be anchored by a Robinsons Supermarket,” she added.

Other anchor tenants include Robinsons Handyman, Robinsons Appliance and a range of boutiques offering apparel, accessories and quick-service restaurants, casual dining outlets and numerous food kiosks.
