The North Star Inn serves as the hotel for temporary duty personnel and other visitors. The current rate for lodging is $34.75 per day. Payment methods required are U.S. currency, personal or Travelers Checks and Master or Visa cards-the only credit cards accepted by the inn. There are a number of special room features that are peculiar to Greenland:

· The TV set receives ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and PBS channels, some AFRTS channels, one Greenlandic station, two base information channels, two Canadian channels, eight movie channels (two in Danish), and a type of Explorer or Discovery channel that shows National Geographic and other similar productions. The TV also has DVD capability.

· Each room has a small refrigerator for personal use.

· The Inn has common co-ed toilet and shower facilities on each floor.
