Manikgad fort

From Mumbai, Manikgad is an ideal 1 day trek. It takes 2.5 Hrs to reach top from the base Vadgaon. It has 2 routes to reach the top. One is through the nali which is steep and adventurous. Another easy route from the back side is a longer route. The top has many water cisterns, dilapidated structures, remains of entrance door and a small temple. The top offers a good view.
