BHASA POLE

This is one of the ancient creations of the Industrial Town Ghatal. This bridge on River Shilabati is made with flat broad wooden platforms on huge boats floating on river. The bridge adjusts its height on high and low tides. The bridge can be opened once a day to facilitate the water transportation.
