Ten Aard is a church village in the Belgian city of Geel. Aard has grown north of the Kempens Kanaal and became an independent parish in 1870. There is a lock in the canal here, called Sas 8. Aard is again named after the older hamlet of Tenaard, which lies to the east of it, near Sas 7.
In 1718, a chapel was erected on Oude Aard in honor of Our Lady of Assistance and Saint Hubert. This hunting chapel was elevated to a parish church in 1870.
