*A member of Orumieh Steel Group has been established since 2003, this company is commissioned to manufacture steel semi and finished products on its 250 hectare land located in south of Orumieh city.

* First Phase: Carbon and Alloy Steel production
The production site is built, melting furnace and a continuous casting machine are on their last stages of installation, this mill is scheduled to produce annum 200,000 tons of round billet from 150 mm up-to 400 mm diameter according to following standard:
-Cold work tool steels standard numbers:
1/2631, 1/2767, 1/2842
-Hot work tool steels, standard number:
1/7131
-Spring steels, standard numbers:
1/0903, 1/0961, 1/7176
-Structural and constructural steels, standard numbers:
1/1191, 1/1186, 1/1181
-Steel for seamless tubes, standard numbers:
1/0671, 1/0564
-High speed steels, standard numbers:
1/3207, 1/3344, 1/3355
The mill is planned to start production by March 2010 and supposed to provide the raw material for seamless pipe mill of the sister company Middle East Pipe & Rolling Co.

* Second Phase: Direct Reduction Iron (DRI)
800,000 tons of annual capacity DRI modules are foreseen to produce sponge iron, providing raw material for the melting shop of the 3rd phase.

* Third phase: Melting Shops and Rolling Mills
These projects are divided in two separate stages as follows:
-Melting Shop: melting shops will produce 800,000 tons of Slab and 600,000 tons of billet annually, these bars are going to be used in our rolling mills.
-Rolling Mills: one Hot Strip Rolling Mill is programmed to produce Hot Roll Coils which itself will be necessary raw material for sister companies. Also a Rebar Rolling Mill will produce 600,000 tons of different kinds of rebar and sections annually.
