Within a short span of time, the university has come up with state-of-the art research facilities. Such facilities are not available in many of the state and other central universities. Some of the students from our first batch secured good position in GATE and other competitive examinations. Our focus has been to provide an atmosphere that tunes to make students positive and genuine.
GGU has set up a pelletron (electrostatic particle accelerator)
It's a major achievement to have a facility related to atomic energy. It would help create skilled manpower required for our nuclear plants. The university is about to set-up a small accelerator at an estimated cost of nearly Rs 50 crore under a scheme of department of atomic energy. The machine came from National Electrostatic Corporation, USA.
