Pavan Talav (Chiplun)

This is the Chiplun Municipality Ground mainly used for Cricket Matches and Parades. Being the center place of Chiplun, it has may commercially important locations surrounding it. Most of all is the Indira Gandhi Sanskrit Kendra, Dr. Ratnakar Ghanekar Hospital and the United English School very close to it.

This is the ground where "GeetaJayanti ellocution Competition(Sanghat level)" organised by "Swadhyay Pariwar" was held in December 2006.

This used to be a fairly large size lake. Around 15 years back the lake was filled up and converted into a municipal ground.
