Ceased to exist in the 90's, wooden houses - partly burned and partly dismantling. Capital structure are the broken and shattered, all the metal removed and sold abroad, filling disassembly. The destroyed buildings and abandoned graveyard, that's all that remained of the settlement where once it was bubbling with life. Creation of "Kolyma Highway" began in 1932 with the construction of the road from the bay to the river Nagayeva Magadanki. The following year, a temporary road was brought to the village Myakit, which subsequently housed the headquarters Avtotransportnik - Department of Road Transport Dalstroi. In 1935, work on the road turned a broad front. Assignments overfulfilment, output, compared with the previous year, increased by 2 times. Due to lack of mechanization used in the construction of a huge number of workers, most of whom were prisoners. Difficult working conditions, great physical exertion, cold, disease, hunger, tyranny and cruelty of the guards - all of this, naturally, led to a great mortality among the workers. However, the lack of "human material" in those years did not arise. Finding road Kadynchem-Khandyga were initiated in late June 1941. The strategic interests of the country demanded the speedy establishment of road communication Kolyma gold-Yakutia. Because prospectors as they were ready right there on the spot were given projects to individual sections of the road, a lightweight version of the highway with temporary road structure was completed in only 23 (!) A month - a unique achievement! Incidentally, many "temporary" roads still exist. In 60-ies was the reconstruction of the central highway - part of Ust-Nera-Magadan, - during which they spryamleny twisty plots, reinforced roadway, improved coverage, replaced many of the bridges. Autotransport ITL Dalstroi existed from January 1951 to August 1954, management of the camp was located in the village Myakit. It was up to 6300 prisoners involved in the repair and maintenance of vehicles (including on Spornenskom authors.
