Saveh (Persian: ساوه) is a small city in the Markazi Province of Iran, famous for its pomegranate. It is located around 100 km (62 miles) southwest of Tehran, at an elevation of 1,030 meters (3,380 ft). As of 2004, the city had a population of approximately 140,000 people.
