  • i used to stay with as 9 year oldmy family as tenant in E-32 multan nagar after my father retired from army in army ordnance depot shakur basti in 1968 to 1970. we later shifted to janak puri in 1970. right now i am in gurgaon. I had ghai family in the house right across. one of the two boys (younger one who, as i learnt, passed away about a decade ago.) of the family was anil ghai. Also, in the opposite row, I had my dear friend Arun Vohra who was my school mate in NC Jindal Public School Punjabi Bagh. In the house behind that of Arun's, there were two brothers, both my friends, named Vijay Sharma and Ashok Sharma, Ashok being the yonger one with small pox marks. I had a host of friends in my short stay of two years in E-32 multan nagar where our landlord named Prabhu Dayal Malik, a an elderly gem of a person who also stayed along in his portion of the property at that time with her married daughter settled in nagpur at that time. I am dying to know if arun vohra and Vijay/Ashok Sharma are still there. I met arun last in 1979 near my college arsd at dhaula kuan. Vijay last saw me standing at the then general store stop of Punjabi Bagh while he waved to me from the foot board of a dtc bus going towards multan nagar. I desperately want reunite with my friends.
