  • The largest gob pile east of the Mississippi. Will use all the acid mine water it created for the plant. This plant will improve the water quality greatly for the raccoon creek.
  • Turning a waste coal pile into a power plant and one of the largest fly ash dumps in the nation is not a clean up. It will leave a worse environmental legacy than the gob pile. The pile contributes to AMD but it is treated with lime and the creek and land thrive. Fly ash will forever destroy the creek and the land and many nearby residents water supply. BAD IDEA! ALL for PROFIT!
