studio - to be replaced, art museum / art gallery
A combination gallery and concert venue, founded in 2007 by Austin Richardson, Johnny Bertram, Tyler Tadlock and others who felt Jackson was lacking in places for the common (i.e. broke) person to experience the creation and appreciation of the Arts (and, possibly, the consumption of alcoholic beverages). Now home to artists' studios, a print shop, and a quasi-apartment, complete with functional kitchen, toilet, shower, and cozy guest-loft.
The otherworldly scenes of writer/director Clay Hardwick's independent film, "Teal Optical," were filmed in this building after hours of dedicated work turned it into a post-apocalyptic forest-scape.
