Off Campus Library for the Opus Dei University of the Holy Cross.
The Library was founded in 1984 as a support to studies of teachers and students of the Pontifical University of Santa Croce, because its assets accounting for a large part from paper documents and multimedia educational materials relating to the University: Theology, Canon Law, Philosophy, Social Communication. Always, however, they make this heritage accessible to scholars from outside.
In 1994 was created, along with 13 other libraries, a network URBE (Unione Romana Biblioteche Ecclesiastical).
Its heritage is currently made up of about 140,000 printed volumes, 800 periodicals, CD-ROMs, microfilms, microfiches.
Since 1996 he has been enriched further with some 20,000 volumes from valuable personal library of the philosopher Cornelio Fabro were donated.
