Headquarters of the Bartram Trail Regional Library System, the Mary Willis Library is the public library in Washington, Georgia. It has the distinction of being the first free public library in the state (earlier libraries required a subscription fee).
The Queen Anne style red brick building dates back to 1889 and was designed by Atlanta architect Edmund Lind with Tiffany stained-glass windows. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 11, 1972.
