Good place to start exploring the vast expanse of forest park. The trail disappearing from view at the South end is following a stream bed, is one of the pleasantest strolls in Portland, and which will eventually lead you to the Arboretum, the Japanese Garden, the Viet Nam Memorial, and the Zoo.

If you check those locations out on the map, you will see just a small piece of the impressive extent the Forest Park trails encompass.
