Green Mountain Reservoir

The Green Mountain Reservoir is located in north central Colorado, in the Blue River Valley. Approx 70 miles west of Denver and 20 miles north of I-70. Built in 1943 as part of the Big Thompson Plan. Its primary purpose is to replace water that is being diverted to the front range.
