  • I was stationed there from 1989 to 1990. Great times, great people, and a crazy drive up the hill. Ronald Morris, Dallas, TX.
  • Oct 1979-Feb 1982 This was my first duty station after Tech school. Assigned for 15 months, but liked it so well I extended. Lots of snow, very scenic views.
  • 1983-15 month unaccompanied; extended to 24 months for off base housing. 2181 communications squadron became 2181 information systems squadron during that time. 30554. Had a buddy in power pro we called Bus Bar. He worked out a deal with a mechanic at the bottom of the hill to put a v-8 in his pinto. Great memories.
  • Was stationed there from Oct 1976-Oct 1978. Was a unique experience serving on top of a mountain. Had some of the greatest view on top.
