Nivelles-Baulers

Hosted the Belgian Grand Prix in 1972 and 1974. Considered a bland and sterile race track at the time, especially when it was considered as a replacement for Spa. It had massive runoff areas, and was flat and featureless. It was not popular amongst the paying spectators since they thought that they were not close enough to the action.

The track was closed in mid-1981, and it was abandoned until its demolition in the past few years. Only a few vestiges of the circuit and facility remain.

Scarily the layout looks pretty good to the modern F1 enthusiast!
