Cupang is dubbed the “Most Blessed Barangay in the City of Muntinlupa”. Through the development activities that have occurred from fishing and farming, the barangay now hosts some 50 major industries and 11 first class subdivisions. Land use is mainly industrial with sporadic residential zones.

Cupang is also the home of prominent subdivisions in the city such as the Alabang Hills, Hillsborough, Intercity homes and many more. Cupang is bordered by Sucat to the north; Buli to the north-east, Parañaque city to the north-west; Alabang to the south; and the Laguna lake to the east.
