This castle overlooks the town of Nürburg and the famous Nürburgring. When you are nearing the entry/exit point of the Nordschleife, this the castle you see rising out of the trees on a mountain top on the right (northern) side of the race course. The Nordschleife is so large that this castle and several towns/villiages are completely circumscribed by it.
