A very ancient temple of more than 1000 years of old. Initially it was owned by a person called chendan and his family so the temple is named as Chendankulangara. There is a very big pond, in front of the temple of around 80 cents of land, which means kulam in malayalam language jointed together with Chendan to name the temple 'CHENDANKULANGARA'. This temple was later taken over by 'Edappally Palace (Swaroopam)' and now taken care by 'Kerala Kshetra Samrakshana Samithi' by forming a local committee to administer the day to day functions. One of the beautiful Idol of 'God Sree Krishna' is present here. The architecure is very old pattern of ancient typical Kerala Temple Architecure is seen here. A very peaceful and eco friendly natural environment is the main attraction of this temple. 'Let Sree Chendankulangarayappan shower his blessings to all of us'. 'Loka Samastha Sugino Bhavantu' (Let the entire world would be in peace and harmony).
