East Greenwich is an affluent town in the county seat of Kent County, Rhode Island, United States. The population was 13,146 at the 2010 census. East Greenwich is the wealthiest municipality within the state of Rhode Island.
East Greenwich was one of only three towns in Rhode Island to vote for Mitt Romney over Barack Obama in 2012, the other two being Scituate and West Greenwich.
