The main building at 26 Elm Street was built in the mid-1950s to house the Westside Dairy. The building to the west of the main building was originally a barn and became a livery for the horses that hauled the Westside Dairy milk wagons around Kitchener-Waterloo. Since the early 1970s the main building has housed the T&J Seafoods store as the anchor tenant.
