Nitte Education Trust is a premier non-profit organization that is committed to providing quality education and healthcare services to the rural people of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada Districts.

Started in a subtle way in 1979 in fulfillment of social commitment to his native village, it was a dream project of its founder, the late Justice K. S. Hegde, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and former Speaker of the Lok Sabha.
