a douar( a village)

This is tribe which is made of four fractions :oulad chaayb,oulad abbou,oulad hamed and oulad miloud.The last fraction is the biggest of all.The kaid in the colonial period(1912-1956) originated from this village.He is said to have signed the approbation to exile he king Mohamed the fifth to Madadascar before he was taken to Corssica,a French island in the Mediterranean.Zhana is now an urban area as it is very close to sidi slimane ,now a province.
